1. Who this covers
This policy applies to everyone who uses Flendy: brands and agencies, creators and clippers, spotters, and anyone who opens a share link or approval link. It forms part of the terms of service, the creator agreement and the spotter terms.
2. Honest views and results
Flendy pays on verified views, so anything that fakes them is the most serious breach. Don’t:
- buy views, likes, comments or followers, or use bots, view farms, click farms, loop tools or engagement pods;
- post someone else’s video as your own, or the same clip from several accounts you control to be paid twice;
- connect an account you don’t own or run, or let someone else use your Flendy account;
- fake affiliate clicks, sign-ups or orders, or use your own codes to earn commission on your own purchases;
- delete or hide a campaign post soon after it’s paid, or edit it to remove the brand or the label;
- try to interfere with how Flendy counts views, reads platform data or checks for fraud.
3. Content standards
Campaign briefs, posts, deliveries, messages and profiles must not contain or promote:
- anything illegal in Nigeria, or in the country where the content is shown;
- sexual content, nudity, or any content that sexualises minors (which we report to the authorities);
- hate speech, harassment, threats, bullying or content that attacks people for who they are;
- violence, self-harm, dangerous challenges or weapons;
- illegal drugs, or tobacco, vaping and alcohol aimed at under-18s;
- unlicensed gambling, betting, lending, investment or crypto schemes, Ponzi or “double your money” offers;
- false or misleading claims about a product, its price, its results or its approvals, including fake reviews and testimonials;
- someone else’s copyright, trade marks, music or likeness without permission;
- personal data about other people without their permission, including their phone numbers or addresses.
Paid and gifted posts must be labelled as described in the disclosure guidelines. Brands in regulated categories (alcohol, financial products, medicines and health claims) must have the approvals the law requires, including from ARCON, before the content runs.
4. How you treat people
- Be respectful in messages. No harassment, spam, or pressure to do work outside what was agreed.
- Brands: don’t ask creators for unpaid extra work, personal favours, or content beyond the agreed deliverables and usage rights.
- Creators: deliver what you accepted, on time, or say early if you can’t.
- Never ask anyone for their password, sign-in codes, BVN or bank PIN. Flendy staff will never ask for them either.
5. Staying on Flendy
If you met through Flendy, keep the work and payment for that campaign on Flendy. Moving a deal off the platform to avoid fees, or contacting a creator found on Flendy to pay them directly for the same work, is not allowed. It also means we can’t protect either side if something goes wrong.
6. Contact details and outreach
- Spotters may only submit a creator’s phone, WhatsApp or email if the creator has agreed to be contacted by Flendy.
- Brands importing creator lists must have the right to share them with us.
- Don’t use Flendy, or anything you learn on it, to send spam or unsolicited messages.
7. Security and the service
- Don’t probe, scan or test our systems for weaknesses without our written permission. If you find a vulnerability, tell us at hello@flendy.co.
- Don’t scrape Flendy, copy creator data out of it in bulk, or use it to build a competing database.
- Don’t upload malware, or files that aren’t what they say they are.
- Don’t get around rate limits, approval rules, spend limits or the access your role gives you.
8. What happens if the rules are broken
Depending on how serious it is, we may:
- ask you to fix a post, or decline or remove content;
- hold or reverse earnings on posts that fail our checks, and recover money already paid for fake views;
- pause a campaign, or remove you from one;
- suspend or close your account, and keep any balance earned through fraud;
- report illegal activity to the relevant authorities.
We’ll tell you what we found and why, unless the law or an investigation stops us. You can ask us to look again by replying to that message.
9. Reporting a problem
