1. About these terms
These terms are between you and [Flendy legal entity name] (“Flendy”), RC [RC number]. They apply when you use a Flendy spotter link to add creators. By opening your link and adding a creator, you accept them, along with the acceptable use policy. How we handle your details and the details you submit is in the privacy policy.
2. Invite only
- Spotting is by invitation. You must be 18 or over.
- You get a private link. It works without an account, so keep it to yourself: anyone with it can add creators as you. Tell us straight away if it’s been shared and we’ll send a new one.
- We can pause or end your link at any time, for example when a request closes or if these terms are broken.
3. Requests
Flendy posts requests, for example “100 creators in Abuja, beauty, 10K to 100K followers”. Each request shows what one valid creator pays, how many creators it needs and when it closes. A request stops paying once it has as many valid creators as it asked for, or when it closes.
4. Consent before contact details
For each creator you add their name, city and public handles. You may also add their phone, WhatsApp or email, but only if the creator has agreed to be contacted by Flendy. You confirm this by ticking the consent box for every creator whose contact details you add.
- Ask every time. Tell them who we are and that Flendy may message them about paid work for creators.
- Never add a contact detail they didn’t give you, or one they gave you for something else.
- If a creator later tells you they don’t want to hear from us, tell us. They can also use the remove-me link in any message we send.
We may check consent with the creator. Adding contact details without consent breaks these terms and data protection law, and we’ll stop paying for and delete those details.
5. What counts as valid
We check every creator you add against the request. A creator is valid when:
- they’re a real person with a public Instagram, TikTok or YouTube page;
- they’ve posted recently (the guide in your link shows how recently);
- they live and post in Nigeria;
- they fit the request: city, what they post about and the follower range;
- they’re new to Flendy.
Not paid: duplicates (we only pay the first person to add a creator, and nothing for creators already on Flendy), private or inactive pages, shops and fan pages, entries that don’t match the request, yourself, and made-up or borrowed accounts. Our check decides validity. If you think we got one wrong, tell us and a person will look again; any change is recorded with a reason.
6. Pay
- You earn the amount shown on the request for each valid creator, up to the request’s target.
- We add up what you’re owed and pay it by bank transfer to the Nigerian bank account you give us, in your own name, usually within a week. You’ll see each payment and its reference under Earnings.
- You’re responsible for any tax on what you earn. Where the law requires us to deduct or report tax, we will.
- If we pay for a creator later found to be invalid or fake, we may deduct it from what we owe you next.
7. Fraud
Adding fake, borrowed or duplicate accounts on purpose, adding yourself or people who don’t post, inventing contact details or consent, or sharing your link so others can add creators as you, is fraud. We’ll pause your link, won’t pay for those entries, may withhold what’s owed for them, and may end your invitation.
8. You're independent
You’re an independent contractor, not an employee or agent of Flendy. You choose whether and when to spot. You can’t make promises to creators on Flendy’s behalf, such as guaranteed work or pay, or say you work for Flendy. You can say you’re a Flendy spotter.
9. Ending and law
- You can stop at any time; we’ll pay what’s owed for valid creators already added.
- Questions or problems: hello@flendy.co.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction.
